Morehouse Tuskegee Classic
The Morehouse Tuskegee Classic between Morehouse College and Tuskegee University will be played Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, at Legion Field. Kick-off is at 7 p.m. CST. Gates open at 5 p.m. CST. To buy game tickets, visit https://www.etix.com/ticket/v/21428/legion-field-city-of-birmingham. Tickets, which are $30 each before tax, will also be sold on game day at the stadium, starting at 12 p.m. CST.
Tickets will also be sold on Friday, Oct. 7 at the4 stadium from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. All other ticket sales will be made online.
Game Tickets
- To buy general admission game tickets, visit https://www.etix.com/ticket/v/21428/legion-field-city-of-birmingham.
- Tickets will be sold at the Legion Field box office Oct. 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CST.
- Tickets will be sold on game day, Oct. 8, at Legion Field, starting from 12 to 8 p.m. CST.
- All tickets bought online must be shown at gates via a smart phone.
- All ages must have a ticket to the game.
- There is no re-entry into the stadium.
- Parking for those visiting the tailgating area will open at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8. Parking will be in Lot F.
- Other parking gates will open at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8.
Tailgating
- Tailgating slots will open at 12 p.m. on Friday, Oct 7. Fees are $20 a day for RVs and tents. Enter at Lot M off Eighth Avenue West. Tailgating spots will not be sold before Oct. 7.
- People visiting tailgating events in Lot M on Friday, Oct. 7, may park in Lot F from 5 p.m. – 11:59 p.m. All visiting cars in Lot F must be moved by midnight. Parking on Oct. 7 is $5.
- HHH Sanitation, Inc. will be the sole provider of all portable toilets, hand wash stations, hand sanitizing stations and RV pump services. Call 205-841-7368 for more information. HHH Sanitation, Inc. will take orders in advance of the game. The deadline to order items is Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 3:30 p.m. or based on inventory availability. Delivery will happen on Friday, Oct. 7 at Legion Field.
- All major credit cards accepted ($1.00 convenience charge added). Please place orders in advance with HHH Sanitation, Inc.
- Tailgaters (RVs, tents, etc.,) will be located in Lot M. Portable toilets will be $85. Handicap portable toilets will be $150.Please consult with HHH Sanitation for any other needs such as a RV Pump service, which is $35 per service, or hand washing stations, which are $125.
Entering Legion Field
- Parking lots open at 4 p.m. on game day.
- Gates at Legion Field open at 5 p.m.
- Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
- No backpacks, large bags, etc. will be allowed. Only small clear bags at the approved size will be allowed. Visit www.morehousetuskegeeclassic/faqs/ to view the 2022 prohibited items and clear bag policy.
- The maximum size clutch allowed inside the stadium is 6.5 x 4.5.
- Those with health issues or in possession of medicine, medical bags, etc. must enter at gate 7AB.
- Media with credentials should enter at gate 5A.
Parking at Legion Field
- There will be no shuttles.
- Legion Field parking lots open at 4 p.m. on game day.
- There will be a charge for vehicles to park at Legion Field on game day. It will be $10.
- Charter bus groups should call Leroy Everson at (205) 254-2401 for parking. Parking will be $25 per bus. The bus lot is located on 1st Street West, which can be accessed from 8th Avenue West and Graymont Avenue.
Traffic
- Residential passes are not necessary for those living in the area of Legion Field.
COVID-19 restrictions:
- Legion Field will follow whatever the current CDC guidelines are for Covid-19. At this time, masks are not required.
